Happy Thanksgiving!

Our Thanksgiving was ok. Matt had to work and so we meet him at the station for Thanksgiving. It was not the Thanksgiving I was hoping for. The food was not good. So since I was unsatisfied with the dinner, Matt decided to cook a turky for me. He got a 20lbs turkey, which is way to much for our family. We had our great friends Trent and Denise over, we had a feast (thanks to Matt, he cooked all the food). Ofter the feast we had to get James drinking from the Cider bottle. We had a great time like we always do with our friends for our Holiday!

James New Toy!

So our new thing to do is garage sales. Of course, James found this Power Wheels at one of the sales, and would not get off it. So since it was very cheap (I mean very cheap) we bought it. It is his Christmas gift that he got to play with early. But only today, we all ready hid it away, it will reappear on Christmas. We took it out and he had a blast. He would press the gas and jult back and then let off the gas, and do it all again. He had so much fun! I am excited for him to have fun with the Power Wheels like I did when I was a kid.

The first snow of the season!

Everytime James touched the snow and got it on his glove he called it a "snowman." Haha. He was glowing to see the snow and watch it fall. We were out for almost and hour playing. He was so upset when we had to go back inside. Also it is my birthday, so it was a great gift to me for being able to play in the snow. And also use the new camara that Matt got me for my birthday.

Waiting for the dolphin show to start

I loved going to the Aquarium. We had so much fun. My favorite part was the dolphin show. I hsave never seen a live show before, so I was Ohhing and Awwing with everyone else. James still 1 week later still wants to watch this Dolphin touch the ball with his nose, everyday!

Halloween

Trick or treating at the Swansons house.

I can not believe how fast James got the concept of saying "Trick or treat" and getting candy. He was so mad when we walked past a house and did not knock on the door. I cant believe how a little bribe could keep that hat on, we told him that he cant have candy unless he keeps the hat on. haha it worked! We missed Matt on Halloween, but we got to go to the station and Trick or Treat there. So I was glad that Matt got to see James with his costume on.

Mr. Peppers Pumpkin Patch

Today we went to Mr. peppers pumpkin patch. James had a great time. We went on a hay ride, as well as walked around looking for the perfect pumpkin (one small enough for james to carry). James stopped at every pumpkin just to say "pumpkin" it took forever for us to find one, but we had a great time.

The Famous Bull

You would never believe me if i told you how crowded this bull was. When we walked up to the bull there were so many people around (front, head; back, balls) takeing pictures. It took us 20 minutes just to get this picture. we are very lucky no one else was in the picture. It was crazy to see the madness people would wait for to get a picture with that bull.

The Big Piano

This is the big Piano that was played on the movie "Big" it was so awesome to see them jumping around and actually playing a song.

We are on the Ferry from Staten Island to New York.

This is one of the few plus' for being in Maryland.We get to go to New York when ever we want. We went to see our great friends Amy and Robert, while they were there for a Yankee's game. We got to take the Staten Island ferry into Manhatten. It was a nice boat ride, right past the Statue of Liberty. It was a long weekend but we wouldn't trade it for anything.

Cake Decorating

This is the first cake that I made in the class. I have never used bags or tips before.

This is the second cake that I made. I am getting used to decorating cakes and not just frosting them.

The begining of October I started a cake decorating class. I go once a week for 4 weeks. It is fun, but also very hard work. I have only frosted cakes with the frosting that comes in the store, but now I am making my own buttercream frosting from scratch. It is so much fun trying all the tips that I have, and seeing what they can do. I have learned so much in just 3 classes. I would recommend taking the class, it is the one at Michaels. I have made 2 cakes so far and I would like to know how you like them. I dont know if I will make wedding cakes like my mom did (way to much work). But now I can make Jamesy's Birthday Cakes, and other peoples too.

A day on the eastern shore

It was a gorgeous day at the beach. The water temperature was 74 degrees. James loves the water, he would run into the water and if we would not catch him he would just keep running into it. He also had a great time in the sand, we made sand castles, and dug a hole. James would stay there all day if we let him. He is a true water boy!

Fun in the tub!

My sister and i put our kids in the tub, and thought it would be cute to get a picture of there bums. It was so hard to get them all looking at the same time, as you can tell it did not work very well.
