The Cast

The story with the cast. James was sitting with us at a pizza place. He wanted to impress a little girl that was with us. So he wanted to sit on a chair further from me, so i let him. He was trying to sit the right way on the chair and hit the edge of the table. I saw him going down and ran to get him as fast as we could. I saw him hit his head, so i was very concerned. we were checking his head and it seemed fine. Then we noticed he would not put any pressure on his Left leg. Matt thought he did something to his knee, so we decided to take him to the hospital. After a few hours at the Hospital they finally took x-rays, thats when they found out he broke his femor bone. We were in the hospital all night waiting for a doctor to fix his leg. They wanted to make sure someone knew about children and how they grow. so after almost a day, they finally found a Dr. to fix his leg. After they fixed his leg we went to see him in recovery. He had this cast on that almost covered his whole body. It was so sad to see him like that. But he is a champ. It has been 3 weeks and he has accepted it, he has now learned to crawl, and is able to get from place to place.

These are picture when James was 3 months old. We went to see Grandma and Grandpa, and the rest of the family. Riley is a month behind James, and they are about the same size. we had so much fun with the Family.

With all the cakes that I have made, James was right there helping make it. He loves helping and eatting the cakes. He also looks great, thanks to Grandma.

James 2nd Birthday party

As you can tell James had a great time at his birthday party. He loved jumping at the bounce house and going down the slides. It was also so cute as we where singing "Happy Birthday" everything we sang happy birthday, James tried to blow out the candles. It was so funny to see him try to blow them out. Matt had to blow them out cause James could not get it. haha we had a awesome time.

We are so blessed that we get to see all these amazing sites! We finally get to see our countrys capital. It was so crazy to walk for 7 hours, but we got to see all we planned in a day. It was worth it. I have learned a lot while I was there. Matt had to explain what certain memorial where, and why they were important. haha thats why I failed History. haha I am so excited to show my parents all the awesome things that Maryland has to offer. Can't wait to see them

Guitar Hero

James and Papa were talking on skype and papa got his guitar to play for James. So in return, James got our guitar Hero Guitar and started playing it with him. It was so funny to see him trying to play with papa. He always asks if he can play with papa when they are skyping. He loves his Papa, so much.
Thanks Dad for taking the time to talk to him and playing with him. I know he truly appreciates it. I do to. We love you and miss you so much.

James 2nd birthday cake

It was the hardest cake I have ever done. Over 10 hours to get all the bricks painted and making the rails out of Royal Icing. The whole cake is edible, except the figures and trees. It turned out better then I could imagine. Now that I am a pro, anyone need a cake decorated? haha
